Ellen Noël Art Museum: CLASSES: Adventures in Art, held one Sunday each month, 2:30-4:30 p.m., for children ages 6-12. Registration required. Tuition charged. Next class March 2 features sun prints. EXHIBIT: Things Dead and Motionless: Still Lifes from the Collection of the Sarah Campbell Blaffer Foundation, an exhibition of classic European paintings from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries reflecting an emerging genre of art, through March 9. EXHIBIT: Animalerie: Jayne Hinds Bidaut, a photographic series capturing small animals found in pet shops around Europe and North America, through March 9. Fast-paced action
on green turf is the hallmark of the
Midland Polo Club. Spectators are
charged a nominal fee (by the
carload) for games, but practice
sessions are free. Fans can either
sit in the grandstands, alongside
the grassy field, or on the
tailgates of their vehicles. Area
teams meet in the spring and summer,
with world-class players often
